This policy refers to a set of web products and mobile apps: Driver app (Vntaxi – Tài xế, Vntaxi – Tài xế tablet), Operator app, mobile booking apps for iOS and Android platforms, mobile driver apps for Android, released as a part of VNPAY solution.

VNPAY is a product Vietnam Payment Solution Joint Stock Company, tax code: 0102182292, address: 8th Floor, 22 Lang Ha St., Lang Ha ward, Dong Da Dist., Hanoi, Vietnam. VNPAY is committed to protecting and respecting the user’s privacy.

Safeguarding your personal information is important to VNPAY and it recognises the responsibility you entrust it with when providing your personal data. This Privacy Policy details how your personal information is used by VNPAY both actively and passively, when you use the website – www.vnpay.vn (“the Site”), and/or the VNPAY Mobile Applications (“Apps”), and/or Driver app (“Driver app”) wishes to outline what information it may collect from you via the Site, the Apps, Driver app how it will use it, whether it will disclose information provided by you to third parties and the use of “cookies” on the Site, Driver app and by the Apps. You can be sure that we will only use your information as described in this Policy.

By using VNPAY’ services or registering, downloading information or entering the Site, the Apps, Driver app, Dimo you consent to the processing (collecting, using, disclosing, retaining or disposing of personal data) of your information under the terms of this policy.

1. INFORMATION VNTAXI MAY COLLECT FROM YOU

VNPAY may collect and process data about you relating to:

the location, address of Driver and Customer;
email, telephone, name, picture (avatar you upload);

2. WHY DO WE COLLECT, STORE AND PROCESS YOUR DATA

VNPAY uses information held about you in the following ways:

to carry out VNPAY’s obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and VNPAY (including but not limited to pick-up and drop-off destinations);
to verify your identity when you sign in to any of our Site or App;
to allow you to participate in interactive features of VNPAY’s service, when you choose to do so;
to contact you for your views on VNPAY’s services and to notify you about changes or developments to VNPAY’s service;
to improve the Site, the Apps, Operator app and/or My hub including tailoring it to your needs;
to identify potential fraudulent activity and to ensure compliance with the user terms that apply to Sites;
to use background location to identify the location of taxi drivers while the driver turnoff screen
to respond to support tickets, and help facilitating the resolution of any disputes;

3. INFORMATION STORAGE TIME: As required by the provision of services to the Consumer and in accordance with relevant applicable laws.

4. VNPAY DOES NOT steal, use, disclose, transfer or sell information related to business secrets or personal information of the Consumers, partners in e-commerce without the consent of the related parties unless otherwise provided by law.
